Rainhill Town FC have been around for over 50 years. Our aim is to improve community involvement, secure some long term sponsorship with local businesses, schools and other local football clubs and secure a permanent ground for the club to develop and move up the football pyramid.
Our aim is to engage with the local community, schools, councillors and businesses to promote the clubs development plans and how it will benefit the local community in bringing our football back to Rainhill. In the very recent closed season we have been successful in winning funding of £30k from the Football Foundation for a pitch maintenance programme over the next six years. We have also purchased a “VEO” so we can now record all games and give player statistics to give our managers and coaches the ability to develop and improve players throughout the upcoming season. Phase1
Our 2-year development plan
To improve finances, sponsorships and additional funding. Look at securing a ground suitable for development with Rainhill High School. Forge closer relationships with in particular Rainhill United and other local football clubs.
We have already made a commitment to Reach within Rainhill supporting young people in the area.
Putting our club on a secure financial standing by improving all aspects of our structure onto a more business like approach. This has already started with the development and securing of our new web page www.rainhilltownfc.co.uk. to promote all aspects of our club.
Recruiting local players to progress from junior football (Rainhill United) to the highest amateur level possible. Our aim is to develop football for males and females at every level. Youth recruitment and maintaining football development for players is a key element of our early plans.
As part of our aims for participation, we would also like to be working with children and adults with disabilities. Therefore, if you can assist with any of those categories we would love to hear from you. We want to strive and offer to give the best chance for local people to be involved in sport. We want to focus particularly on the development of players under the ages of 20. Our central aim and is key to the development of football and footballers in Rainhill and its surrounding areas.
One of our priority aims is to get involved with local secondary schools in the local area and to give people the chance to play for their home town club and above all we want people to be proud of their local club.
For our efforts to succeed, we will be working closely with local and national funding schemes such as the Football Foundation and the Liverpool County FA. We will also work closely with the local council and councillors and Rainhill High School in a bid to achieve our aims.

Phase 2
This is a 5 year development plan
To set in place a secure base within Rainhill to be proud of. The requirements of high level football are not just a local pitch it comes with many other criteria for the level at which our club presently plays at.
Hopefully working with Rainhill High School and the local councils the Liverpool County FA and the Football Foundation to build a lasting legacy for the community as well as the football club.
Phase 3
This is a 10 year development plan
By using all our connections with local businesses, national and local governing bodies and funders for football, councillors and the high school we aim to have a secure ground which has been developed with changing rooms, a shop, new pitch with stands and at the same time promoting local businesses.
We aim to have a football ground that the whole community can enjoy, support and be involved with. More importantly Rainhill Town FC will be based within Rainhill again and supporting all our teams at all levels.
Our dreams are big and bold and we believe achievable with the right support from the local community, businesses, volunteers and people who are passionate about football and watching local talent thrive.
