Rainhill Town FC is delighted to announce that funding has been secured through the Football Foundation to support vital improvements to the grass football pitch at Rainhill High School.
The investment will enhance the quality and durability of the playing surface, helping to create a safer and more reliable environment for players of all ages. The project is designed to improve drainage and overall pitch conditions, ensuring the facility can be used more consistently throughout the season, even during periods of adverse weather.
The improvements will benefit not only Rainhill Town FC but also local schools, grassroots football teams, and community groups who regularly use the facilities.
The Football Foundation, funded by the Premier League, The FA and the Government, continues to invest in grassroots football facilities across the country, helping communities access better places to play.
