One kick at a time

Rainhill Town FC have been within the Rainhill community for over 50 years and we partner with Rainhill United on our National and local Liverpool County FA 3 Star Accreditation.

We need your help as businesses within the community. We have a major plan to achieve that with your help. It can’t be stressed enough how much we appreciate the involvement of local companies and businesses being involved in our journey.

Your help will give us “One kick at a time” to achieve our goal to have Rainhill Town FC  fully back in Rainhill.

We are looking to help within the community and will be supporting the REACH Programme which helps empower young people and strengthen our community.

Under the glow of Saturday floodlights, Rainhill Town has always carried more than just a name — it carries the pride of the village.

Formed in 1970, the club grew through the Warrington leagues and onto the West Cheshire League, earning promotions and silverware, and at its peak reaching Step 7 football. For years, Rainhill had its own team to follow — hard-working, competitive, and proudly local.

But the quality of ground issues forced the club away from playing in the village itself. The badge remained, the spirit remained — yet something was missing without football being played on Rainhill soil.

Now we are trying to start a new chapter. The campaign to bring Rainhill Town FC back home is about more than matches; it’s about rebuilding properly, creating better facilities, developing local players, and building a club that can steadily climb the footballing ladder. You can help us achieve this and build a legacy for future generations.

The aim is simple: to get football back into Rainhill at the highest level, a stronger environment for the game, and a future the whole village can believe in “One kick at a time”.
